Mammals

A vertebrate is an animal of a large group distinguished by the possession of a backbone or spinal column, including mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and fish. The four characteristics that all Chordates have are they have a notochord, they have a pharyngeal gill slits, postanal tail, and a hollow dorsal nerve cord.

This explains how mammals are connected to each other

2.    There are many characteristics of mammals. Some of them are that they are warm-blooded, have fur on their bodies, they are vertebrates, they breathe air, feed their young, and most are born alive. These are unique because not all animals breathe air or have fur such as fish and reptiles, and also not all animals and things are born alive (think eggs).

Here are some educational videos on mammals:
These are only a few types of mammals. There is a rhinoceros, a hippopotamus, a giraffe, and an elephant. They are all land animals. As you can see these animals all breathe air and also you can see that the giraffe has fur.

These are mammals in their natural habitat.  As you can see a lot of these animals also have fur and although some are in the water, they breathe air.

3. The three different types of mammals are Monotremes, Marsupials, and Placentals.

Monotremes are mammals that lay large yolky eggs and have a common opening for the urogenital and digestive system called a cloaca.

Some Examples of Marsupials are Kangaroos, Opossums, Tasmanian Devil, Koalas, and Wallabies. Examples of Monotremes are Platypus Short-beaked echidna, Long-beaked echidna. Examples of Placentals are horses, sheep, cows, deer and dogs.

This is a very cute koala. It is a land mammal. It is eating eucalyptus leaves.

The questions are very repetitive. For example for several I can put the same answer as other ones.
